The MOST Efficient Kit for YOUR Screen Print Shop

For this project, we are fulfilling a large face mask order consisting of a two-color design and an off-center print placement on white face masks.

Setting Up the Screen Print Station

  1. Start by removing all t-shirt platen bases from your screen printing station and replacing them with the Master Brackets included in your Kit
    • Install the Master Bracket by sliding it into place on the station (arm) and screw in the side knob first, then the bottom knobs. Repeat this for each station.
  2. Place the Face Mask Platen SP with the 3x4 Top Plate installed on each Master Bracket
  3. Set up a flash cure over one of the stations to cure prints as you go

Loading the Face Mask Platen with 3x4 Top Plate

  • Place the blank face mask on the 3x4 Top Plate. Because this is an off-center print with the intended placement of being in the side corner of the face mask, we are aiming our visual center to be on one side of the mask, and therefore the mask will not be laying dead-center of the Top Plate
  • Once the face mask is in position, place the corresponding 3x4 Hoop around the Top Plate to secure the face mask down and keep it from moving while printing. This hoop also keeps all the mask's seams and straps at bay so that they do not disrupt the smoothness of the print

Print Method 1: Print, Flash, Print

  • Load each Face Mask Platen
  • Print the first color in the design
  • Flash cure that print as you move on to the next blank mask so that the first color of the prints will be set when you print the next color
  • Print the next color and repeat until the face mask is done
  • Unload the mask and cure on a conveyor dryer

Print Method 2: Preloading the Face Mask Platens

  • Load each Face Mask Platen on the Setup Station included in your Kit prior to placing the platens on the screen print station
  • Place each pre-loaded platen on the station and print as you go
  • Unload and cure the finished face masks and repeat

Print Method 3: Assembly Line-Style Production

  • One person or team loads the Face Mask Platens for printing
  • A second person or team prints on the face masks
  • The first team then unloads the finished face masks and places them on the conveyor dryer

And before you know it, that face mask order will be completed in no time with optimal timing and efficiency!
